Clan war is an amazing fact of Clash of Clans. Players can have an exciting battle. They can play together and win the war by a great teamwork. By winning a war, players get war win loot bonus and clan xp. Clan xp helps a clan to get level up. By level up of a clan, clan members will get some extra benefits. Like if your clan is level 5, your donated troops to your mate will be upgraded 1 level. If you donate a level 5 giant to your mate,it will get upgraded to level 6. The war win loot bonus is enough to satisfy you. In clan war the preparation day is 23 hours and Battle day is 24 hours.

Friendly Clan war is to engage in war with your friend clan by challenging them or accepting their challenge. You can choose tje same numbers of the players which your opponent have. To join in any war you have to take in 5 players. The great thing is you cam customize the timespan of preparation day and. Like you can set the time of preparation day of 15 minutes, 1 our,6 hour or others which the game option provides. Same as Battle day day,you can also customize the timespan.

1. You can (A leader or co-Leader) start clan war by selecting enough members and searching for opponents. But in friendly clan war you have to select enough members and challenge your opponent clan. If they accept then the war will begin.
 2.  If you attack in clan war your troops will be spended. But if you attack enemy bases your troops won't be spended.
 3. Clan war's Preparation day and Battle day isn’t customizable but friendly clan war's time is customizable.
 4. You can earn clan xp and war win loot bonus in clan war. But you can't earn those in friendly clan war.
 5. Your clan war log and friendly clan war log will ne counted in separate way.They are listed in different places of war log.
